I hope you have had a wonderful weekend! I am excited to share that Ivy Drive School will be celebrating Read Across America Week from March 2–6.

Attached you will find our school-wide Read Across America Dress-Down Calendar for the week. All students in kindergarten through grade five are invited to join the fun by participating in our themed spirit days as we celebrate the joy of reading together.

Throughout the week, students will enjoy a variety of literacy-focused experiences, including:

• Guest readers from United Way
• Themed daily lessons centered around rich, engaging texts 
• Special classroom activities that promote a love of reading

We look forward to a fun and inspiring week as we celebrate the power of books and learning across our Ivy Drive community and thank you for helping your child participate and for supporting literacy at home.
