Good Afternoon, Ivy Drive School Community:

I am beyond thrilled to share with our school community that Ivy Drive School has won the March Attendance Challenge across all Bristol Public Schools! This means our students came to school on time, ready to learn each day, and had the lowest absenteeism rates for the month of March—and for the school year to date!

In addition, two Ivy Drive students have been entered into a special bicycle raffle, made possible through a partnership with Benidorm Bikes of Canton, CT and a Department of Transportation grant. What an exciting opportunity for our students!

We kicked off the celebration yesterday with a special visit from our mascot, Emerald, along with the Attendance Unicorn—what a fun and memorable way to recognize this incredible accomplishment!

A heartfelt thank you to our families and caregivers for your continued partnership in ensuring your child arrives at school each day. This achievement would not be possible without your support. Let’s keep the momentum going and finish the year strong with excellent attendance for all of our learners!

We are also excited to share that we have several upcoming events planned for Ivy Drive families. One special event you won’t want to miss is our Ivy Drive Family Learning & Enrichment Event on Wednesday, April 22 from 6:00–7:00 PM. Our teachers and staff will be hosting engaging literacy, math, and STEM stations for families to explore. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about our curriculum across grades K–5 and discover fun, interactive ways to support your child’s learning at home.

We are also proud to welcome community partners who will be joining us, including the Boys & Girls Club, Ascension Learning, the Bristol Police Department, and more. Families who attend will be entered into raffles for exciting prizes!
