Good Afternoon, Ivy Drive School Community:
I hope you have enjoyed the weekend!  I apologize for the later-than-usual delivery of this week’s Ivy Drive Weekly News, my family has been struggling with maintaining power and Wi-Fi access at home throughout the weekend due to the weather. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

We are excited to share some of the wonderful updates and happenings from around our school as our students, staff, and families have settled into the routines of a new school year.

As we move forward, we are embracing Bristol Public Schools’ message of “Better Together” as an important priority at Ivy Drive. Throughout the year, we will continue to strengthen communication and collaboration while creating meaningful programs and opportunities that bring our students, families, staff, and community together. Building strong home-school partnerships will remain an important part of our school climate and community engagement goals.

I also want to provide an update regarding phone and voicemail access at Ivy Drive School. We are aware of ongoing challenges with our voicemail system and are working with our Technology and Communications Department to rectify the issue. If you need to contact the main office or a staff member during the school day and are unable to access the appropriate voicemail option, I encourage you to send a ParentSquare message directly to the staff member you are trying to reach. ParentSquare continues to be a reliable and accessible way to communicate with our school team.   I sincerely apologize for any confusion, inconvenience, or frustration these phone and voicemail issues may be causing. Please know that we are actively working to resolve the problem and appreciate your continued patience and understanding.
