Good Morning, Ivy Drive School Community:
This week at Ivy Drive, we had an incredible week of teaching and learning! Our fourth graders had a special visit from the CT Science Center, where they explored innovative ways to power Connecticut while considering the impact of energy on our environment.
On Monday, March 24, our Ivy Drive Honors Band members had the exciting opportunity to perform at the Honors Band Concert held at Bristol Eastern High School. They played alongside students from across all Bristol schools and did an outstanding job—way to go, Ivy musicians!
We also wrapped up our March Mathness Challenge, coordinated by our math coach, Mrs. Vastola. Stay tuned to find out which classes completed the most S.T. Math puzzles this past week! Our students have been working hard to beat their goals and complete their S.T. Math journeys. We are so proud of their dedication and hard work this past month!
Please remember that all Bristol Public Schools will be closed on Monday, March 31, in recognition of Eid-al-Fitr. We hope you enjoy the long weekend with your family and loved ones, and we look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Tuesday, April 1 for another great week of learning.
