Good Afternoon, Ivy Drive School Community:
We’ve wrapped up another incredible week of teaching and learning here at Ivy Drive School—can you believe we’re just a few weeks away from Memorial Day Weekend?

This week was filled with exciting celebrations and events! We honored our Students of the Week, enjoyed a beautiful school-wide Spring Music Concert, had fun and educational field trips for our kindergarten and first-grade students, and celebrated one of our own staff members receiving the BPS Staff Achievement Award. There are so many amazing things happening at Ivy Drive every day!

We’re also excited to share that Ivy Drive School has been selected as one of several Bristol Public Schools to host a “Welcoming Walkthrough” in partnership with CREC (Capitol Region Education Council). This initiative brings together a diverse group of school stakeholders—including parents/guardians, staff, and community members—for a guided walkthrough of our school. The goal is to gather feedback in four key areas:

1. Physical Environment
2. School Practices & Policies
3. School Climate & Culture
4. School Communication Methods

If you're available on Friday, May 23, from 9:15 AM to 12:00 PM, and are interested in participating, please complete the interest form here: [ID Welcoming Walkthrough Parent/Guardian Interest Form]. Our main office will follow up with those who express interest to confirm participation. Please submit your form by Monday, May 19.  I truly believe this process will offer meaningful and actionable insights to help strengthen our school community.
