Ivy Drive School: Weekly News- Week of June 2-6

Posted Date: 6/07/25 (9:00 PM)

Good Afternoon, Ivy Drive School Community:

Can you believe we’re just about a week and a half away from Summer Vacation?
We certainly celebrated the end of our school year this past Friday during our school-wide Fun Day! Students, staff, and parent volunteers all enjoyed a variety of outdoor stations and rotations throughout the day. Activities included relay games, giant yard games, an inflatable Ga-Ga pit, face painting, kickball, an indoor inflatable obstacle course, and everyone’s favorite—a Dunk Tank!
Several of our brave teachers surprised students by volunteering to take the plunge in the Dunk Tank, including Mrs. Krok, Mr. Dietlin, Mr. Eucelitto, Ms. Melaney, Mrs. Stailey, and Miss Stacey.
A big thank you goes out to our PTA for planning and coordinating the event, and to our amazing parent volunteers who helped make the day such a success!

Looking Ahead:
This week, several grade levels will wrap up their special events, and we’ll conclude the week with two major celebrations on Friday, June 13th:

  • Kindergarten Program (9:45am)
  • 5th Grade Promotion (1:15pm)
Important Reminder:
Please send your child’s school-issued Chromebook and charger (in its case) to school this week so we can complete our end-of-year collection and inventory. Students across the district will not be bringing Chromebooks or tablets home for summer vacation.
