🍂 Welcome, Fall!
We’re in full swing at Ivy Drive, and we have an exciting month ahead filled with learning, celebrations, and opportunities to connect as a school community.
📸 Fall Picture Day — Monday, October 6
Individual and class photos will be taken outside to capture the beautiful fall foliage (weather permitting).

👥 Student-Led Parent–Teacher Conferences
Teachers in grades K–5 have shared their sign-up links—please select a time that works best for your schedule.

• Tuesday, October 21: 4:30–6:30 PM
• Wednesday, October 22: 4:30–6:30 PM
• Thursday, October 23: 2:00–3:30 PM

Our conferences are student-led, meaning your child will take an active role in sharing their learning, goals, and progress with you. This model helps students:

• Build confidence and pride in their achievements
• Develop communication and reflection skills
• Take ownership of their learning journey

We’re so proud of our student Dragons and can’t wait for you to see how much they’ve accomplished already this year!

📚 Scholastic Book Fair — October 21–23
The Ivy Drive PTA will host our fall book fair during conference week. Classes will shop during the school day, and the fair will remain open during conference times—be sure to stop by and check out all the great titles!

🎃 PTA Halloween Party — Friday, October 24 at 6:30 PM
Our PTA is looking for volunteers to help with this fun family event! If you’re interested in volunteering, please reach out to the PTA or our main office.

We look forward to seeing you throughout the month of October—there’s so much to celebrate at Ivy Drive!
