Good Morning, Ivy Drive School Community:

What an amazing week we had at Ivy Drive School celebrating Read Across America! Throughout the week, our school community celebrated the joy of reading and literacy by hosting read-a-thons, sharing favorite stories, participating in a fun spirit week, and welcoming guest readers from United Way into our second grade classrooms. It was a wonderful way to bring our school community together while celebrating our love of reading.

Later this month, Ivy Drive will host Parent-Teacher Conferences from March 25–27. Student-led conferences will be held Wednesday and Thursday from 4:30–6:30 PM and Friday from 1:30–3:30 PM. K–5 teachers have shared individual conference sign-up information with families through ParentSquare. Please take a moment to sign up for your child’s conference so you can participate in their student-led conference and hear about the wonderful learning they have experienced so far this year.

During conferences, the Ivy Drive PTA will also be hosting the Scholastic Book Fair in the library during the school day and conference hours. Be sure to stop by and check it out!
