Good Morning, Ivy Drive School Community:

We are incredibly grateful to the Rohr Family for their generous donation to Ivy Drive School. Yesterday, Mrs. Annie Rohr, along with her son Gary Rohr (Grade 5), presented us with a magnificent painting of our beloved mascot, Emerald the Dragon, commissioned especially for our school.

The artwork was created by Gustavo Zuluaga, a Colombian-born artist whose inspiring journey has gained international recognition. While working as part of the cleaning crew at The Shard in London, his life changed when he was invited to design the tower’s holiday lighting—an opportunity that launched his artistic career. Today, his work helps illuminate the London skyline.

We are deeply appreciative of this extraordinary and heartfelt gift. We look forward to sharing this special piece with our entire school community at an upcoming Pep Rally. The painting will be proudly displayed in the main entrance of our school for all to enjoy.
