Ivy Drive Weekly News - Week of April 20-24
Good Morning, Ivy Drive School Community:
I hope you had a wonderful and restful Spring Break! It has been great to welcome our students back and jump into another exciting week of learning and community-building here at Ivy Drive.
Here are a few highlights from this past week at Ivy Drive School:
Family Learning & Enrichment Event
Thank you to the many families who joined us for our Family Learning & Enrichment Event! It was a wonderful evening filled with engaging literacy, math, and STEM activities, along with meaningful connections with our community partners. We truly appreciate your participation and support in making this event such a success.
After-School Clubs Kick-Off
Our After-School Clubs began this week! This 5-week program provides students with opportunities to explore new interests, collaborate with peers, and engage in fun, structured activities after the school day. We are excited to see our students involved and enjoying these experiences.
P.R.I.D.E. in Action
Our student P.R.I.D.E. Leaders will be visiting classrooms this week to model and reinforce our school-wide expectations: Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Diversity, and Enthusiasm. We are proud of the leadership our students are demonstrating as they help build a positive and inclusive school community.
UPCOMING THIS WEEK: Grade 5 NGSS State Assessment - April 29th & 30th
This week, our 5th grade students will begin their state-wide testing by completing the NGSS Science Assessment on Wednesday and Thursday. We are confident that our 5th graders are well-prepared and ready to do their very best—we know they will "Rock the Test!" We encourage all students to get a good night’s sleep and come to school ready to shine.
Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership and support. We are grateful to work together to create a positive and engaging learning environment for all of our students.
Wishing everyone a wonderful week!
