Ivy Drive Weekly News - Week of May 25-29
Good Morning, Ivy Drive School Community:
As we head into the final weeks of the school year and head into June, we have so much to celebrate at Ivy Drive School.
We are excited to host our annual Field Day/Fun Day on Friday, June 5!
This full-day event, sponsored by our incredible Ivy Drive PTA, is one of our students' favorite traditions and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate a successful school year together. Students will participate in a variety of fun-filled activities throughout the day, including outdoor games, relay races, water activities, team challenges, music, and opportunities to build school spirit with classmates and staff.
To add to the excitement, students are encouraged to wear their grade-level colors:
Kindergarten: Green
Grade 1: Yellow
Grade 2: Purple
Grade 3: Gray
Grade 4: Red
Grade 5: Indigo Blue (Students to wear their 5th Grade T-Shirts)
A special thank you to our Ivy Drive PTA for generously providing a school-wide BBQ lunch for all students, staff, and volunteers. We are incredibly grateful for their continued support in creating memorable experiences for our Ivy Drive community.
SBA State Assessments – That's a Wrap!
This week marked the completion of the 2026 SBA State Assessment window for our students in grades 3-5. We are proud to share that Ivy Drive achieved 100% student participation in this year's assessments!
A tremendous thank you goes out to our students, teachers, interventionists, support staff, and testing coordinators for their hard work and collaboration in ensuring a smooth and successful testing season. Throughout the month, students demonstrated perseverance, focus, and determination as they worked to show what they know and can do.
Each Friday, we celebrated our students' efforts with special "Rock the Test" incentives and celebrations to recognize their commitment and positive attitude during testing. From start to finish, our students rose to the challenge and made us incredibly proud.
Thank you, Ivy Drive families, for your continued partnership and support. We look forward to an exciting Field Day and many more celebrations as we finish the school year strong!
