Ivy Drive Weekly News - Week of June 15-18

Posted Date: 06/19/26 (10:15 AM)

Good Morning, Ivy Drive School Community:
As we approach the final week of the school year, I want to take a moment to celebrate the many wonderful experiences our students enjoyed this past week and share important information about upcoming events.

Our students had an exciting and memorable week filled with learning, celebration, and community engagement!
  • Kindergarten students enjoyed a fantastic field trip to Beardsley Zoo, where they explored animal habitats, learned about wildlife conservation, and created lasting memories with their classmates.

  • Students participated in a variety of end-of-year activities and celebrations as classrooms reflected on their growth and accomplishments throughout the year.  Our 21st Century PALS Program concluded another successful year of learning and enrichment. We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Mancini, Ms. Olivia, Mrs. Krok, and Ms. Jazmin for their dedication and commitment to supporting our students.

  • We were also excited to welcome Maevis as part of our Kindergarten Attendance Program, coordinated by Mrs. Kelly Harrison and Mr. Chris Wasieleuski, helping us celebrate the importance of strong attendance and school engagement.

FIFTH GRADE PROMOTION CEREMONY

We look forward to celebrating our fifth-grade students as they prepare for their transition to middle school.
  • The promotion ceremony will be held outside on the back blacktop, weather permitting.
  • In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in the Ivy Drive Gymnasium.
  • All fifth-grade students are asked to wear their Ivy Drive Fifth Grade shirts for the promotion ceremony.
  • If the ceremony is held outside, families are encouraged to bring chairs and gather on the back blacktop for the celebration.

As the school year comes to a close, I want to thank our students, families, staff, and community partners for an incredible year of learning, growth, and achievement. We are proud of all that our Dragons have accomplished and look forward to celebrating these final milestones together.
